Chris DeBari Esq.
Chris DeBari, Esquire comes to this firm with extensive experience in the areas of personal injury, PIP, and criminal defense litigation. He received his BFA from Montclair State University in 1991 and his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 1998. He has extensive jury trial experience and is a former member of Stetson Law School's world class trial team where he was given the distinction of "Best Advocate" in AFTA's 1998 Intrastate Mock Trial Competition. Upon graduation from Stetson he was presented with the Ralph Harris Ferrel Competition Award for individual excellence in trial competition. Mr. DeBari started his legal career as a State prosecutor in the sixth Judicial Circuit for Pinellas and Pasco Counties. He then worked as an associate at the law firm of Trentalange & Kelly where he practiced in the areas of Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice litigation. He then spent the next five years of his career as an associate at the Law Offices of Papa & Gipe, Clearwater where he practiced in the areas of personal injury, PIP and criminal defense litigation. Mr. DeBari has lectured in the areas of criminal law and PIP litigation and is currently a member of Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association (TBTLA) and Florida Justice Association (FJA).
